Institute of Engineering is the department of Faculty of Engineening of Rezekne Academy of Technologies. The Institute is working on researches related with the field of science “Engineering and technology” building industry-academia relations bridging all three elements of “Knowledge Triangle” (Research, Education and Industry) developing the economy and industry of Latgale, Latvia and Europe.
REGI is a unit of the Faculty of Education, Languages, and Design. It is the only scientific institution in the Baltics dealing with the development of regional studies as a new scientific area, implementing regional policy of the European Union and promoting the development and sustainability of the region.
The Research Institute for Business and Social Processes (hereinafter the Institute) is a constituent unit of the Faculty of Economics and Management (EPF), Rezekne Academy of Technologies (RTA). In the result of reorganisation of the Scientific Institute of Regionalistics (REGI) in 2016, the scientific divisions of RTA were integrated into the faculties, thereby establishing a network of scientific divisions; the Research Centre for Business and Social Processes was established within the network.
